                                                        It is Time to Refuel the Frank Knox!
​Our annual WHITE ELEPHANT AUCTION is on-line this year.  Auction opens Sunday, November 8th at 12pm Eastern time and goes through Saturday, November 14th, 5pm Eastern time.
Winners will be announced for each item
by Sunday November 15, 2020.  This our traditional fund-raising event to raise money and refuel the ship's passage for the year 2021. There are a number of special items to bid on. This Knox lighter was from the early sixties,m when the ship was homeported in Japan and they went on an  extended cruise to the Indian Ocean.  ​1960's with the blue and white crest, ship of the year, Battle "E", personalized "Ben & Liz"

​            The Knox lighter is from 1965-1968 with the newer shield and the                         hashmarked "E" award.  Ship engraved on one side, opposite
​             side is the DESRON Asiatic Squadron.
